Celebrate

Hey, everyone! Can you believe it’s already nearing the very end of 2107! And sadly, my time here with SAT is up. I have loved being with such an amazing company, design team and community. So thank you all! Now let’s CELEBRATE 2017 with a final card!

I created this project using Abigail- Let’s Be Friends. I Copic colored her and fussy cut her out before adding her to my card. I used a glittery word die and a fancy scalloped border along with some plaid paper to create some fun interest. A circle sentiment made this perfect for a birthday card to send to those friends who have birthdays in the cool blue months of winter. And that’s it! Have a great new year!

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.
I used the Lucille-What A Deer along with the Sam-Best Buds ,for the dog, to create my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mats cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies and Tropical Dies for the snow layer.
I stamped and half paper/ pieced/half colored Lucille with Copic markers. I stamped the dog from the Sam Best Buds, colored him with Copics and cut him out.
I then glued him next to Lucille and cut the mat around the both.
To finish, I added a ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the Fuzzy Mittens stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting.
Have a great day!

Lucille's Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas friends!
Stephen from Stampin' Steve here today with a special card creation for Christmas.

I used Lucille - What A Deer and coloured her with my Copic markers. I actually coloured her during a Facebook Live on my Stampin' Steve Facebook Page a while back.

I have been spending a lot of time lately trying to learn how to use my Silhouette...so in order to practice, I designed all the card elements using my Silhouette. I am pretty happy with the results.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I will see you real soon!

Until Next Time - Stephen

Masking Tip

Hello there, it's Ellen here and this time I have a quick tip for you. In this post I want to show you how easy and fun it is to give a face to any shape you can think of. I used the  “Katy Im Smitten Kitten” stamp set. Below you see how this is made:

1. First you need to stamp the image on some masking tape. For people that don’t know; masking tape is paper with a sticky side. The glue is not permanent, so you can remove the paper easily. That’s also why crafters use it a lot for fun techniques.

2. Everything you want to be visible on your actual project you have to cut out the masking paper. On my wooden tag I wanted a face, so I cut out the face on the masking paper. After that I simply placed the masking paper on top of my wooden pine tree and stamped my stamp on top of it. I used a stamping tool for it so I was sure my face would be exactly stamped in the open ‘window’ I created on the masking paper.

If you stamp on wood like I did, it’s good to first do a check up to be sure the ink doesn’t bleed into the nerves of the wood.

I cannot wait to do this same thing on a heart or a star. What are your ideas with the masking technique?

Merry Christmas Deer

Hi crafty friends!
Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here to share with you a Christmas card featuring the adorable stamp, Lucille - What A Deer.

I started my card by making an A2 cardbase from some red card stock. I made a little scene with some hill die cuts and some snowflake patterned paper. I added my greeting, a bow and adhered some striped vellum behind my scene panel and popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. I colored that sweet little Lucille with my Copic markers, paper pieced her shirt and popped her up with more foam tape. I finished off my card with some snowflakes from Jaded Blossom and added some pearls to the centers. I think she is adorable!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

You're My Shining Star

Hi everyone! This is Tina from The Scrappin Rabbit blog and I am sharing a card I made for the Sparkle & Shine Challenge:

How to Play Along:
- Create a new project and add some "sparkle"
-Share your creation at Our Facebook Group HERE by January 5, 2018
-Only one entry
-A stamp of your choice will be awarded to the winner, if we have five or more entries.

For my project I decided to make a shaker card using one of my faves...Melanie- Need A Hug

I stamped, embossed and colored her with Copics. I also stamped and embossed some stars on the night sky background with some holographic embossing powder. I created a window to fill with sparkle and stars. I kept the card design simple so the Melanie and the window would be the focus.

I added some more sparkle to her bow.

I hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join us for this fun challenge! Have a great day!
